I found Ishitani Travel on Facebook. This is where I always go when I need a referral. I love the groups that help support other women owned businesses. The plan was to travel to NYC with my almost 18 year old daughter, have some activities planned and not be overwhelmed with go-go-go. It is our vacation after all and spend quality girl time together. I wanted a mix of fun and relaxation. I wanted to be close to Times Square, 5th Ave, and Central Park. Rachel listened to every request I made and gave me options to choose from the hotels. I LOVED the hotel we stayed at, the Gotham, I had the King Suite with a balcony overlooking the city. It was an incredible view. We also planned to go to a broadway show and the Central Park Zoo. Both events were so much fun. Im almost embarrassed to admit that at the ripe age of 42 I have never been to a Zoo so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a thrilling atmosphere with a variety of animals. Rachel booked the tickets for both events and made it so seamless and stress free. With me not knowing the city since I had never been Rachel helped me choose where to sit at the Broadway Show Wicked, we had amazing seats and I was able to see everyone in the show. It was such an exciting experience. Rachel also gave me written instructions for how to walk to Times Square, The Zoo, and the theatre, which helped ease my anxiety and fear of getting lost with my daughter in an unfamiliar environment. I felt safe in the hotel I chose, I felt safe walking everywhere and I even felt safe on the subway!!!! Having Rachel’s help gave me confidence, structure, and freedom to enjoy my trip and the memories we shared together will last a lifetime!! I will absolutely use Ishitani Travel for my next trip and will refer her business to anyone who needs the support of a travel agent.

As the director of a Weekday Preschool we do not get many opportunities to take trips together as a staff. When a training opportunities arose I reached out to Ishitani Travel to see if they could help me find a good hotel in the area since I had never been to the location before. Rachel, did a fantastic job listening to our needs and working with our budget. She found several options to suggest for us and when I asked if these were safer areas she even did a dive for me looking an what was around the areas and how secure things were. I felt 100% heard! She really went above and beyond to put me at ease. And to top it all off, the hotel she helped me settle on for our staff was absolutely amazing! All the ladies felt special and the trip turned into a great bonding time for us as a staff. I would highly recommend this company and I will absolutely use the services again!
